The SOWHAT team donate their time voluntarily, however, there are various costs associated with running the campaign for which we need your help to fund.
CURRENT NEED (May 2019):
We anticipate printing a further 10,000 leaflets for delivery to every home in Oulton, Woodlesford, Swillington, and to distribute through local businesses in Rothwell.
We need to raise £300 to cover printing costs. Please consider making a donation.
The leaflets will provide a summary of the information needed to respond to what is likely to be the final HS2 Consultation, and our last opportunity to influence their plans.
We will need to get the message out to as many people as possible as the volume of responses will make a difference. Together we can force them to look at other options to improve our future.
Our campaign costs include meeting room hire, document printing, website hosting, banner printing, flyers, postage etc. None of these are huge costs, but they do add up. We think it’s fair therefore to ask that those supporting the campaign, and benefiting from our volunteers’ efforts, consider making a contribution to the running costs of the campaign.
